Recently I’ve been reading a lot of articles on the Disneyland cases of the measles. Suddenly, there are a ton of polls requesting your opinion if vaccines should be mandatory or if vaccines should be a parent’s right to choose. So far, the polls have been overwhelmingly one-sided, and side with the parent’s right to choose.
First of all, there is no way anyone will go for mandatory vaccinations because that would go against our basic human rights. Plus, science isn’t perfect and organisms are constantly evolving so it would be extremely stupid to force less-than perfect vaccinations onto people when there is no guarantee it will protect against that specific strain forever, or AT ALL for that matter seeing as how fully vaccinated children are still getting the measles. Scientists know this and if your doctor is smart, they’ll tell you the same thing.
I’m going to apologize ahead of time if I get a little frustrated in this blog, this topic has been an emotional one for me… Honestly, I don’t particularly agree with being forced to pump my childs body full of neurotoxic metals, chemicals, aborted fetal cells, non-human biological products, and cancer-causing carcinogens just to trigger an immunological response against a viral or bacterial strain that may or may not create an antibody against that specific strain.
If you haven’t already heard, there is something called “over-stimulating the immune system” and here are a few points to consider:
- When you give a child 2-3 different vaccines at one time, you’re really making their immune systems work to fight off 7-8 diseases. For example giving them the MMR, DTaP, and Varicella vaccines all in one well visit. Sometimes given when a child is already sick with the flu or a cold so the immune system is already hard at work.
- Each vaccine has ingredients that are meant to trigger the immune system to respond, so giving a child 3 different vaccines at the same time makes their immune system overwork itself especially if the child is already sick.
You might wonder why a child has a high fever or cries for days (or weeks) after getting vaccinated… It might be because their little bodies are not meant to handle all that crap! So forgive me if I get a little emotional here, because I have been that kid and I remember (vividly) what it was like to experience a severe and possibly deadly reaction from the Hepatitis B vaccine and another severe reaction to the HPV vaccine when I was in my 20’s.
When I became a parent and decided not to vaccinate my child, I didn’t make that decision based on Jenny McCarthy or Andrew Wakefield. I made that decision by questioning vaccines based on my own personal experience, years of researching each of the ingredients in the package inserts of every vaccine required by the CDC, and reading the stories from (previously pro-vaccine) parents of vaccine injured children who learned their lessons about the dangers of vaccines the hard way.
Let me tell you that I would much rather have my unvaccinated child become naturally infected with ONE type of measles strain without all those unnecessary toxic chemicals interfering with her body’s response, because guess what? My child is healthy and she’s not going to die from the measles and I promise you, neither will your vaccinated child. If you don’t believe me, then try researching the last time anyone died from the measles in the United States, or whichever country you live in (aside from 3rd world countries), AND THEN research if that person was fully vaccinated against the measles or not, AND THEN research if that person had other health issues before getting the measles. Trust me, there are a lot of factors to take into consideration before assuming EVERYONE WILL DIE if they catch the measles. It was very common to get the measles when my parents were young. Nobody thought the measles was DOOOOOM AND GLOOOOOM, DEATH IS UPON US!!!!! – kind of scenario. Sorry to be so over dramatic here, but seriously…. This is how pro-vaxxers sound.
So to the pro-vaxxer extremists that are trying to take my right for parental choice away, let me just tell you that guaranteed lifelong immunity from getting the measles naturally seems a little more logical to me than believing the fear-mongoring media frenzy that my child will DIE!!!!!– if she doesn’t get a shot. Despite what you want to believe, my child is very healthy and doesn’t have any vaccine preventable diseases that will put your child in danger. If you find comfort in injecting your children with neurotoxic metals and cancer-causing carcinogens just for the peace of mind that they MIGHT be protected from a disease that they are probably still going to get if they are ever exposed to it, especially from the vaccine itself, then by all means.. Please continue to do whatever makes you sleep at night. In the meantime, shut your yap and leave my right for parental choice alone. Thank you, and have a nice day.
